Chartwells Higher Education at Purchase College in Purchase, NY seeks a Senior Executive Chef to lead culinary operations across campus, drive menu development, inventory, and food cost controls while ensuring safety and quality. Qualifications

• Culinary degree preferred.
• Bachelor's in Food Services Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years progressive culinary or kitchen management experience.
• Experience planning and managing catering events.
• Strong leadership with a passion for developing teams.
• Knowledge of food trends, quality standards, production, sanitation, and cost controls.
• Proficiency in MS Office, email, and web-based tools.
• Excellent communication across all levels of the organization.

Job Summary

Bring your passion and leadership to Chartwells! As aSenior Executive Chef, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside talented professionals while leading culinary operations across a dynamic campus environment.

In this role, you will drive excellence in food quality, innovation, and operational performance—ensuring all culinary offerings are on-trend, efficient, safe, and executed to the highest standards. You’ll oversee menu development, inventory and purchasing, food cost controls, and the hiring, training, and development of culinary team members.

Key Responsibilities
