We combine the expertise and rigor of a large consulting firm with the agility, flexibility, and personal approach of a boutique firm. At WorkWell, we are highly collaborative, practical, entrepreneurial, and focused on outcomes. Our team works closely with clients to solve complex problems, lead meaningful change, and deliver work that makes a lasting impact.
As we continue to grow, we are also investing in the people, leadership, infrastructure, and operating rhythms that will support WorkWell’s next chapter.
WorkWell Consulting Group is seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to join our team in Charlotte, NC.
This is a full-time role for someone based in the Charlotte metro area. The position will be fully remote to start while WorkWell’s new Charlotte headquarters is under construction. Once our headquarters opens, currently targeted for May 2027, the role will transition to a hybrid model with a more regular onsite presence to support our CEO, leadership team, employees, and headquarters operations.
Even after the transition to hybrid, we expect to maintain flexibility as appropriate based on business needs and the nature of the work.
Before the headquarters opens, occasional in-person participation may be needed for leadership meetings, company events, employee onboarding, candidate meetings, offsites, or other business needs in the Charlotte area.
This role will primarily support our CEO/Co-Founder while also working closely with our COO and broader leadership team.
This is not a traditional administrative role. We are looking for someone who can become a trusted extension of the CEO—someone who is highly organized, exceptionally responsive, proactive, resourceful, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment.
A significant focus of the role will be the strategic management of the CEO’s calendar, priorities, and commitments. This person should be able to understand the business well enough over time to help prioritize where the CEO’s time is best spent, anticipate upcoming needs, prepare for important meetings, and ensure commitments and follow-ups do not fall through the cracks.
The role will also support broader executive operations, employee onboarding, internal communications, leadership meetings, company events, and occasional headquarters operations.
As WorkWell continues to grow, there will also be opportunities for this role to provide targeted support to other members of the leadership team.
The right person for this role is someone who naturally creates order out of complexity.
You move quickly. You close loops. You notice what others miss. You don’t wait to be told every next step, and you are comfortable figuring things out when the answer isn’t immediately obvious.
You understand that excellent executive support is not simply about managing a calendar—it is about understanding priorities, anticipating needs, protecting time, making connections, and helping an executive and organization operate more effectively.
You are also willing to jump in when something needs to get done. Whether that means preparing for an important client meeting, coordinating a new employee’s first day, drafting a company communication, solving an office logistics issue, or tracking down an outstanding action item, you approach the work with the same level of ownership and urgency.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who doesn’t just want to support the work.
We are looking for someone who helps make the work happen.
