Senior Executive Analyst (Executive Director Support)

What You’ll Do
  • Manage and optimize the Executive Director’s daily workflow, maintaining situational awareness of emerging issues, prioritizing high‑level deliverables, and acting as the central point of contact for the executive office.
  • Execute coordination efforts between the Executive Director, Technical Division leads, Senior Executive Service (SES), military staff and defense industry partners to ensure alignment on SSP mission objectives.
  • Oversee executive office operations, including calendar management, complex scheduling, travel coordination, and logistical planning of high‑profile meetings, briefings, and off‑sites.
  • Draft, review and edit highly sensitive executive correspondence, action items, meeting minutes, formal memorandums, and command‑wide briefings to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with military protocols.
  • Track and facilitate the timely closure of action items, managing internal database workflows to guarantee that deliverable for leadership is complete.
  • Facilitate communication and maintain robust professional relationships across the command, helping to synthesize reporting materials, program updates, and strategic documentation.
What You Bring to the Table
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • 15+ years of experience in executive‑level office management, programmatic development, and administrative excellence within a DoD or military command environment.
  • An active DoD Secret clearance, or a previously active clearance held within the past two years and still in good standing.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); exceptional organizational acumen; superior verbal and written communication skills for SES and flag officer.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
