Job summary

DAn Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced MS Exchange Operations Engineer to administer and optimize enterprise-grade Exchange services within a secure DoD environment.

The role requires strong collaboration with IT, cybersecurity, and AD teams to ensure secure messaging and reliable service. Responsibilities include mailbox provisioning, mail flow management, retention policies, and cloud migrations with M365.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Security+ CE certification and TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph required.
• 10+ years IT experience, 6+ years focused on Exchange operations.
• Expertise in Exchange Server 2016/2019 and hybrid Exchange Online.
• Hands-on with M365, OWA, GPO, and email cloud migration.
• PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting.
• Knowledge of DoD STIGs and RMF, secure messaging protocols.
• Experience with email gateways, DNS, and ActiveSync.

Responsibilities

• Administer mailbox provisioning and mail flow management.
• Troubleshoot complex messaging issues with cross-team collaboration.
• Implement retention policies and automate tasks with PowerShell.
• Support OWA and cloud migration initiatives with M365.
• Develop SOPs and technical documentation for sustainment.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Security+ CE certification
