Job summary

General Dynamics - IT is seeking an Exchange Engineer to support government activities in Sterling, VA or Annapolis Junction, MD. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining Exchange solutions with leadership in system integration and documentation.

Required clearance (TS/SCI with polygraph), DoD 8570 IAT Level II credentials, and experience with Exchange Edge, PowerShell, and AD. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is expected, with a strong emphasis on security and

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification required (Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Security).
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Exchange Edge installations and management.
• Experience testing and vetting new hardware solutions.
• Knowledge of ATO and Project Management processes for certifying products for production networks.
• Experience with PowerShell and Active Directory.

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, integrating, and maintaining Exchange solutions on and off premises.
• Developing system architecture and design documentation.
• Providing technical leadership for integration of requirements, design, and technology.
• Integrating new plans and systems into ongoing operations.
• Guiding system development and test planning within systems engineering.
