Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior Systems Engineer to support government activities in Sterling, VA or Annapolis Junction, MD. You will design, implement, and maintain Exchange solutions and lead system architecture initiatives.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, DoD 8570 II certification, and 10+ years of related experience. You will collaborate across teams to ensure DoD-compliant infrastructure and effective email systems.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Must currently possess and be able to obtain Top Secret SCI + Polygraph.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• 10+ years of related experience.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Security).
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Support Government activities in Sterling, Virginia, or Annapolis Junction, Maryland.
• Provide support and engineer solutions for email and email retention systems.
• Develop a roadmap for Enterprise infrastructure.
• Design, implement, integrate, and maintain Exchange solutions on- and off-premise.
• Develop system architecture and system design documentation.
• Provide technical leadership for integrating requirements, design, and technology.
• Incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations.
• Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment and preparation of system engineering management plans.
• Prepare system integration and test plans.
• Ensure technical integrity of work and deliverables in Systems Engineering.
