Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior Systems Engineer to support government activities in Sterling, VA or Annapolis Junction, MD. You will design, implement, and maintain Exchange solutions and lead system architecture initiatives.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, DoD 8570 II certification, and 10+ years of related experience. You will collaborate across teams to ensure DoD-compliant infrastructure and effective email systems.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Must currently possess and be able to obtain Top Secret SCI + Polygraph.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• 10+ years of related experience.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Security).
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.

Job description

Requirements

• 10+ years of related experience
• Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements, including one of: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Security
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, technical certification or training, or work/military experience
• Experience with Exchange Edge installations and management
• Experience testing and vetting new hardware solutions
• Knowledge of ATO and project management processes
• Experience certifying products for use in production networks
• Experience with PowerShell
• Experience with Active Directory
• Skills in complex systems, Microsoft Exchange Server, and systems development
• Less than 10% travel required
