Job summary

GDIT in Sterling, VA is seeking an Exchange Engineer to design, implement, integrate, and maintain on- and off-premise Exchange solutions for government work. You will help shape the enterprise email infrastructure and retention strategy.

The role requires a TS/SCI with polygraph, DoD 8570 IAT Level II certs, a bachelor’s in a technical field, and 10+ years of related experience, with PowerShell and Active Directory expertise.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certs including Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Security.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, integrating, and maintaining on and off premise Exchange Solutions
• Developing system architecture and system design documentation
• Providing technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology
• Incorporating new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations
• Guiding system development and implementation planning through assessment and preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans
• Responsible for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility
