Job summary

Vamonos IT is seeking an experienced Exchange and eDiscovery Engineer to architect, administer, secure, and operate the enterprise messaging platform. You will manage the cloud Exchange environment and optimize eDiscovery workflows across litigation, investigations, and regulatory inquiries.

The role demands hands-on expertise with M365, Purview, and compliance processes, plus strong PowerShell skills, documentation, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supporting Microsoft 365 Exchange and Purview eDiscovery.
• Strong PowerShell knowledge and automation skills.
• Experience with Purview eDiscovery, retention policies and holds.
• Ability to craft KeyQL for eDiscovery searches.
• Knowledge of defensible data handling, chain-of-custody and compliance.
• Experience with MX records, SPF, DKIM, and email routing.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME on M365 Exchange and Purview eDiscovery Purview.
• Build and optimize search queries and analytics across eDiscovery workflows.
• Lead security and email-related projects from idea to implementation.
• Support escalated incidents on Exchange Online, phishing, spam, and Teams.
• Monitor event logs and performance KPIs; baseline analyses.
• Use Purview and PowerShell to manage discovery operations.
• Execute advanced content searches to ensure defensible results.
• Support legal holds and custodial data preservation.
