Great American Insurance Group seeks a Senior Production Underwriting Specialist in Excess Liability to drive risk selection, pricing, and profitable growth. On-site four days a week with one remote day, travel required to meet brokers and agents.

Ideal candidate has 10+ years in Casualty underwriting with Umbrella/Excess experience and strong negotiation and client relations skills. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of Casualty underwriting experience; 3+ years in Umbrella/Excess Casualty underwriting preferred.
• Frequent day and overnight travel (10–50%).

Responsabilités

• Has responsibility for risk selection/rejection, pricing, retention, growth, and profitability per divisional objectives.
• Uses independent judgment and initiative to support business goals.
• Maintains a high level of customer service.
• Analyzes coverage and limit requests and decides terms to offer.
• Prices business in accordance with company guidelines.
• Assesses risk quality and compliance and initiates loss prevention actions.
• Interprets, explains, and markets products and services.
