Great American Insurance Group in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Senior Production Underwriting Specialist for the Excess Liability Division. You will lead risk analysis, pricing decisions, and client relationships to drive profitable growth while maintaining high service standards.

The role requires 10+ years of Casualty underwriting with 3+ years in Umbrella/Excess, strong communication and negotiation skills, and willingness to travel up to 50%. On-site four days a week with one remote day.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Casualty underwriting experience
• Minimum 3 years of Umbrella and Excess Casualty underwriting experience
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Frequent travel (10–50%) to visit agents/brokers

Responsibilities

• Own risk selection, pricing, retention, growth, profitability per divisional objectives.
• Maintain high level of customer service.
• Analyze coverage and limit requests and determine terms.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
• Visit agents, brokers, and producers to retain and grow business.
• Administer underwriting rules and guidelines and rating manual rules.
