Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in excess casualty or surplus lines underwriting.
• Ability to make binding decisions within delegated authority.
• Strong knowledge of E&S casualty coverage structures and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex excess casualty risk submissions and loss history.
• Underwrite E&S lines outside standard market appetite.
• Determine coverage structures, attachment points, and terms.
• Refer risks outside authority to senior leadership with rationale.
• Maintain profitable book of business through disciplined underwriting.
