Montana Materials & Construction, A CRH Company, is seeking an experienced excavator operator to join our team in Helena, MT. You will operate excavators and other heavy equipment, work with utility crews, and help deliver safe, quality infrastructure projects outdoors.

We value leadership, mentoring, and a strong safety culture. The role involves travel to multiple sites as needed, with DOE wages and overtime opportunities contingent on project demands.

Qualifications

• Three to five years related experience and/or training or equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints, site specs, and simple instructions.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass fitness & drug tests.
• Authorized to work in the United States without company assistance.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavator and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Locate utilities and trenches; prepare ground for pipes.
• Lead team at job site and coordinate with crews.
• Maintain equipment and complete time/material records.
