Allan Myers is seeking an experienced excavator operator to support heavy civil projects across the Mid-Atlantic. You will dig, trench, and grade using hydraulic excavators, interpreting plans and ensuring precise workmanship on water, sewer, and drainage installations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of excavator experience, knowledge of GPS machine control, and a commitment to safety and reliability in all weather conditions. CDL is a plus, and pre-employment screening applies.

Competenze

• Minimum of 5 years of excavator experience in heavy civil construction.
• Experience in mainline pipe installation or mass excavation preferred.
• Ability to work with GPS machine control systems is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of excavation techniques, trenching safety, and soil conditions.
• Physically demanding environment and varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Mansioni

• Operate hydraulic excavators to perform digging, trenching, and grading.
• Excavate for utility installations including water, sewer, and drainage.
• Perform bulk earthmoving and slope work on large projects.
• Read plans, grade stakes, and laser levels to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain safety in line with company and OSHA standards.
• Conduct daily inspections and report mechanical issues.
• Collaborate with crew, site supervisors, and project managers.
