Roto-Rooter’s Indianapolis branch in Fishers, IN is seeking an Excavation Manager to grow excavation business by expanding existing accounts, developing new customers, and optimizing crew and equipment utilization.

You will lead underground pipe repair projects, oversee safety, manage staffing, and coordinate with dispatchers to deliver on time and within budget. The role offers a salary range of $80,000–$90,000 with potential branch-based performance bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years prior excavation experience; plumbing and sewer knowledge a plus.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• May be required to hold a plumbing license, depending on local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develops Existing Business: monitor progress, contact customers, address permits and licenses.
• Cultivating New Business: identify bid opportunities and prepare estimates.
• Technician Skills Development: supervise staff and coordinate scheduling.
• Safety and Loss Prevention: conduct safety training and ensure compliance.
• Efficient Use of Equipment: manage vehicle use and inventory.
