Perfect Plumbing, Heating & Air is seeking a Lead Excavation Installer in Garden City, ID. You will lead crews, operate heavy equipment, and oversee underground utility installations from ground cut to final inspection.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, mentoring apprentices, ensuring safety, and maintaining equipment. Travel up to 25% as required; CDL strongly preferred. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or equivalent
• Technical training in excavation or construction is preferred
• 4+ years of experience in excavation or underground utility installation with leadership responsibilities
• Valid driver's license; CDL strongly preferred

Responsabilidades

• Lead excavation crews in safe and efficient installation of underground piping, utilities, and drainage systems
• Operate and oversee heavy equipment (excavators, trenchers, skid steers)
• Ensure accurate trenching, grading, backfilling, and compaction per specs
• Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and specifications to guide installations
• Train, mentor, and support apprentices and technicians
• Inspect completed work for safety, quality, and accuracy
• Communicate with customers about scope, progress, and site conditions
• Maintain and care for company vehicles and equipment
