Job summary

The California State University at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo Campus seeks a Senior Testing Coordinator to oversee the DRC Testing Center. Under supervision of the Director of the DRC, you will coordinate exams, supervise staff, and ensure secure, accessible testing in accordance with ADA and FERPA.

You will collaborate with faculty and Access Specialists to uphold standards, mentor staff, and promote an inclusive learning environment that supports student success.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ADA, Section 504, and FERPA regulations as they relate to accommodations and exam administration.
• Strong organization and time-management skills to oversee multiple exams, schedules, and priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, faculty, staff, and campus partners.
• Ability to supervise, train, and evaluate staff, including proctors and student employees, while maintaining testing standards.
• Familiarity with assistive technology and accessible testing tools; able to troubleshoot issues.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the DRC Testing Center.
• Coordinate testing logistics to ensure timely, secure, and fully accommodated exams.
• Supervise student staff and mentor professional staff.
• Collaborate with faculty and Access Specialists to uphold standards and accessibility requirements.
• Maintain a supportive and inclusive testing environment while preserving assessment integrity.
