Job summary

Anduril Industries is a defense tech company seeking a Harness Engineer to own electrical wiring and interconnect systems for rugged aerospace applications. You will design, plan and integrate harnesses, develop diagrams and release for production while collaborating across mechanical, electrical and software teams.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and 3+ years of hands-on harness experience, with NX Cabling/Siemens Capital Harness expertise and MIL-STD familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years hands-on harness design experience.
• Experience with 3D routed harness data files using NX Cabling and Siemens Capital Harness.
• Familiarity with CAN, Ethernet, RS422, RS232, 1553 and MIL-STD harness standards.
• Eligibility to obtain US Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering expertise to design, fabricate and integrate harness systems.
• Investigate, plan, design and develop harnesses to meet technical requirements.
• Research, select and procure connectors, back-shells, and cables meeting environmental requirements.
• Develop harness diagrams and release for production.
• Participate in design reviews and guide design choices.
• Prepare assembly instructions and test procedures for harnesses.
