Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an Electrical Harness Engineer to design, fabricate and integrate har­ness systems for rugged applications. You will develop block and wire diagrams, select components, and ensure conformance to MIL-STD and military interfaces while coordinating with mechanical, software, and product teams.

This role requires active engagement with suppliers and multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years hands-on experience designing electrical harnessing for rugged applications.
• Build 3D routed harness data files using NX Cabling and Siemens Capital Harness.
• Experience with 3D CAD wire harness routing using Siemens NX.
• Read and generate formboard drawings in 2D CAD for production (Siemens Capital).
• Familiarity with CAN, Ethernet, RS422, RS232, 1553 interfaces.
• Knowledge of MIL-STD requirements and harness standards.
• Experience reading wire block and interconnect diagrams.
• Excellent organization and communication; eligible for US Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, fabricate and integrate harnesses on projects.
• Investigate, plan, design and develop harnesses to meet requirements.
• Research and procure connectors, back-shells, contacts, wire and shielding to meet enviro needs.
• Develop harness block diagrams and wire diagrams for production release.
• Participate in design reviews and address issues to drive design choices.
• Prepare harness assembly instructions and test procedures.
• Guide electrical team on system requirements from stakeholders.
• Support fast-paced development, deployments, and customer hardware.
• Manage involvement across multiple projects at various stages.
• Collaborate with harness manufacturers for high quality, reliable products.
