Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Senior Electronic Warfare / RF Engineer to support NAWC‑WD at Pt. Mugu. You will drive end-to-end EW/RF mission architectures across airborne, range, and lab environments, delivering high‑fidelity threat simulations and advanced RF sensor programs.

The role requires deep RF subsystem design expertise, hardware/software integration, and active Secret clearance, with leadership of multi-disciplinary teams to ensure readiness and successful mission execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 18+ years of EW/RF systems engineering experience, preferably airborne.
• Deep understanding of RF subsystem design, modeling, simulation, and threat-environment replication.
• Experience hardware/software integration and mission-system validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end EW and RF mission system architectures across airborne, range, and laboratory environments.
• Provide senior technical direction for multi-disciplinary teams and liaise with NAWC‑WD engineers and SAIC portfolio leadership.
• Translate requirements into actionable specifications via analyses, trade studies, and interfaces.
• Develop and validate RF architectures, digital receivers, and signal processing flows for EW implementations.
• Adhere to Systems Engineering practices and produce compliant artifacts (specs, test plans, procedures).
• Represent EW team in technical reviews, risk management, and readiness assessments.
