Job summary

Precise Systems, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Technician V to support depot-level testing, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of EW assets.

Initially based at the customer's facility, the role will transition to a contractor-operated depot, with emphasis on documentation, parts management, and inventory accountability. The position requires hands-on electronics experience, ability to coordinate with government customers and program managers, and readiness to obtain/maintain a Secret

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ten years of hands-on experience OR an Associates degree with six years of experience.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic equipment.
• Ability to interpret electronic schematics, technical drawings, and maintenance procedures.
• Experience using electronic test equipment to isolate faults and verify equipment performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, fault isolation, repair, and verification testing of EW assemblies and related equipment.
• Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals and test requirements to identify failures and determine actions.
• Operate electronic test equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and more) as required.
• Document discrepancies, repair actions, and test results for traceable records.
• Track repair progress and coordinate with customer, program manager, and suppliers.
• Support transition to contractor facility with knowledge transfer and calibration coordination.
