Job summary

Boyne Resorts seeks an Environmental Services Supervisor to lead day-to-day custodial operations across base area facilities, ensuring safe, clean, and welcoming spaces for guests. You will translate standards into daily execution through scheduling, training, and hands-on leadership, supporting the best guest experience possible.

You will train and coach a team, manage shifts, and coordinate with other departments to maintain safety and cleanliness during peak times and special circumstances.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and in accordance with safety protocols.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to lead and coach a team.
• Strong listening and diplomatic problem-solving skills to resolve concerns from guests and team members.
• Ability to manage multiple departmental functions under pressure while meeting deadlines and quality objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive EVS operations and light building maintenance across base facilities.
• Ensure the plaza is guest-ready through sweeping, litter pickup, and clean, properly set furniture and tables.
• Ensure indoor and outdoor waste receptacles are checked, emptied, and properly sorted throughout the day.
• Coordinate end-of-night cleaning of dining areas and assist with trash checks as needed.
• Coordinate EVS support for snow removal on heavy snow days to address slip hazards.
• Schedule shift rotations and ensure facilities are closed and secured.
• Ensure custodial activities comply with all safety and regulatory guidelines.
• Handle guest situations with professionalism and hospitality-focused problem resolution.
