Job summary

Compass Group USA’s Eurest division in Redmond, WA seeks a Senior Business and Events Manager to oversee operations of the team, support Eventions, and manage client relationships across sites. The role focuses on leadership, process improvements, and ensuring SLAs are met.

You will supervise the Business Manager and Event Planners, drive strategic planning, manage vendors, internal tools, and cross-functional collaboration, and mentor staff to deliver world-class events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and aware of industry trends.
• 7–10 years of experience in Customer Service.
• 5+ years of experience leading and developing teams.
• 3–5 years of experience planning executive events (product launches, trade shows, conferences).
• Event planning certification (CMP or CSEP) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work with a global community.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders at Eventions and other segments to ensure cohesion and customization as needed.
• Strategize with leaders on operational processes and maintain necessary documentation.
• Lead strategic planning initiatives to support growth and site expansion.
• Maintain top-quality vendors and ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Partner with internal teams and external vendors for flawless events.
• Organize and share updates in OneNote and SharePoint with teams.
• Liaise on questions, concerns, and feature requests for internal tools.
• Foster long-term client and stakeholder relationships across centers.
• Provide backup support to the General Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
