About Relentless

Relentless is an organizing company focused on unlocking political power through relational organizing. Relational organizing is the simple, proven concept that people talking to their friends and family is more effective than strangers talking to strangers. Our flagship product, Rally, is a social graph, power-mapping tool, and program management platform that makes running scaled relational programs simple. Our in-house program team brings their deep experience to supercharge the programs that run on Rally and mobilize communities at scale to have meaningful conversations, get out the vote, and so much more.

About The Role

In 2025, Relentless is running compensated relational programs in multiple battleground states using Rally. Our programs will hire thousands of low turnout voters to become relational organizers in their communities and mobilize their friends and families to vote. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, flexible, and dependable Senior Events Manager to help power and scale our virtual program events.

Relentless programs specialize in activating low turnout, high-opportunity voters through energetic, educational, and community-focused virtual events that move participants to action and change their relationship to democracy. Our virtual events provide participants with an experience of enthusiasm, support, and confidence for the work they are doing—so they can continue to be trusted messengers to their communities.

The Senior Events Manager will oversee the execution and operation of virtual events for all participants in our 2025 programs. The Senior Events Manager will directly report to the Deputy Director of Participant Experience.

A great Senior Events Manager is someone who is excited to direct an energetic and adaptable virtual events program that engages, informs, and activates participants to view themselves as empowered messengers to their communities. A good fit for this role is someone who is excellent at problem-solving on their feet and coordinating multiple moving pieces to meet changing needs and priorities. You’re a good fit for this role if you are skilled at connecting and communicating with people from diverse walks of life and passionate about leading & improving teams and systems to enhance the participant and staff experience.

This is a full-time, remote, and temporary position with an estimated start date of August 5th, 2025 and an end date of November 21, 2025.

Event Management

  • Oversee the execution of virtual events for all programs—making approvals and coordinating team capacity to ensure all events meet our high standards for quality, energy, efficiency, and flow.
  • Manage the full-time Events team, consisting of 2 direct reports (VA Events Manager and GA & PA Events Manager), to follow-through on tasks and deadlines using daily syncs, weekly 1:1s, responsive communication, and regular feedback.
  • Direct the Events team to oversee and support part-time Digital Organizers during their event shifts, including giving Digital Organizers feedback on event performance.

  • Analyze Events data and feedback and pitch changes and additions to our event model to improve participant and staff experience.
  • Think a few steps ahead to predict and anticipate participant problems and blockers and proactively implement Events-related solutions.

Program Build

  • Work with the Content team to create written event materials, including runs-of-show, slide decks, chat scripting, and Event FAQs.
  • Work with the Training team to develop and finalize Events-specific training materials for full-time and part-time staff.

  • Other tasks as assigned in relation to the success of the program.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience organizing and/or facilitating engaging virtual events (whether in the context of campaigns, education, the arts, nonprofits, etc.)
  • Experience managing staff—either paid or volunteer.
  • Strong decision-making and prioritization skills with the ability to pivot and manage competing priorities on a tight timeline.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey accurate and useful information from one side to the other on a regular basis.
  • Succeeds at identifying areas that need improvement and taking initiative to implement necessary changes on the fly.
  • Commitment to fighting for progressive electoral outcomes.
  • Desire to engage with new people and bring positive energy into a space—eager to support others, provide help, and problem-solve with empathy.
  • Thrives in a highly-collaborative remote work environment. This position is entirely virtual and requires access to reliable internet and proficiency in online platforms and tools (Google workspace, Zoom, Slack, etc.)

Preferred But Not Required

  • Experience creating training materials for staff, volunteers, or program participants.
  • Experience with relational organizing programs.

This work will require being available evenings and weekends during peak program days and as Election Day nears. The Senior Support Manager should expect to be online and available six days a week from September 8, 2025 - November 4, 2025.
