Job summary

La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club, Inc. seeks a results-oriented events sales professional to drive revenue across the Club, Shores Hotel and Marine Room. You will respond to leads, craft proposals, and close contracts while representing the venues at industry events.

You will collaborate with Banquets and culinary teams to deliver exceptional experiences. The role emphasizes upselling, multi-tasking under pressure, and maintaining a professional, guest-focused demeanor to foster long-term

Qualifications

Four-year college degree or equivalent education/experience preferred.
Minimum of three years of employment in a related position.

Responsibilities

Sell and service events at the La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club, Shores Hotel and Marine Room.
Respond to leads, execute sales proposals and contracts.
Represent venues at events and in the business community; liaise with Banquets and culinary team.
Oversee event food, beverage, setup, AV, resumes and Banquet Event Orders.
Upsell décor and specialty items; manage client relationships and site inspections.
Coordinate with banquet staff to ensure execution and billing reminders.
Maintain professional image and provide polished service to members and guests.
