Job summary

La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club, Inc. is seeking an energetic events sales professional to sell and service events at the La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club, the La Jolla Shores Hotel, and the Marine Room. The role responds to leads, negotiates contracts, and represents venues at events within the business community.

You will collaborate with Banquets and culinary teams, manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and drive guest satisfaction through exemplary service and product knowledge.

Qualifications

Professional, attentive and genuinely friendly service.
Minimum of three years in a related position.

Responsibilities

Achieve and exceed personal room night and catering goals for events.
Execute all events assigned.
Ensure BEOs and resumes are completed accurately and distributed prior to meetings.
Oversee all food, beverage, setup, audiovisuals, resumes, welcome letters and BEOs for events.
Upsell all aspects of events including decor and specialty items.
Coordinate with banquet staff for smooth event turnover and client relations.
