Job description

A highly prestigious, leading law firm across the corporate space is seeking an ambitious Senior Events and Operations Manager. Known for advising top-tier financial institutions, private equity sponsors, and major corporations on complex transactional and business matters, this organization delivers exceptional results across high-stakes corporate and litigation initiatives. This hybrid role goes far beyond traditional event execution, combining strategic client engagement, high-level marketing operations, process optimization, and departmental project management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Event & Client Engagement Leadership: Designing and executing high-impact client engagement initiatives, partner seminars, and firm hospitality programs that support business development across core corporate and litigation practice groups.
  • Marketing Operations & Process Optimization: Serving as an operational anchor for the broader marketing department by creating, documenting, and refining internal "how-to" playbooks, onboarding/training frameworks, and workflow procedures.
  • Cross-Functional Project Management: Leading cross-departmental initiatives across communications, events, business development, and marketing technology, driving operational efficiencies and integrating process enhancements (including AI tools) to streamline firmwide efforts.
  • Senior Leadership Partnership: Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and working in close alignment with senior partners, providing expert operational counsel and project oversight across key firm initiatives.
  • Team Mentorship & Development: Providing direct oversight, mentorship, and day-to-day guidance to events support staff and junior marketing team members, fostering a high-performance, supportive team culture.
About You
  • Broad Strategic Vision: You bring extensive marketing, events, and operations experience gained within a leading corporate law firm or professional services environment. You are looking to expand beyond a traditional siloed events capacity into a multifaceted operational leadership role.
  • Operational Excellence: You possess exceptional project management, process improvement, and documentation skills, with a proven ability to turn complex departmental workflows into clear, repeatable systems.
  • Collaborative Influencer: You thrive in an engaged, highly supportive culture where team members collaborate across functions, bringing the interpersonal sophistication required to earn the trust of appreciative partners and senior leadership.
  • Adaptable & Forward-Thinking: You are a proactive self-starter who embraces process efficiency and technology integration, with a keen eye for optimizing resources and team workflows.
