Job description

Who is Prestige?

Prestige Global Meeting Source, founded in 1986, provides site selection and event services to clients. Our experienced sales partners work to find and contract the best possible hotels, resorts, DMCs and cruises for groups and continue through to full-service event development and management.

Compensation:

The salary range for the role is $75,000 - $85,000 per year depending on experience.

What will I do?

The Senior Event Technology Manager will collaborate with clients to create event websites and apps according to specified requirements, ensuring adherence to established processes, timelines, and quality standards. Manage and maintain resources for technology builds, facilitate attendee experiences through effective website and registration site design, and handle event promotion and communication. Additionally, stay current with Cvent technology, assist with account administration, and train Associate Program Managers. Also, support event administration by acting as a subject matter expert, assisting with technology and Cvent accounting tasks, and supporting leadership with special projects and tech research as needed.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Work with clients to build their event website and/or event app per the specifications outlined in the SOW.
  • Follow established process, timeline, and quality control procedures throughout the building of the website and/or app.
  • Maintain files and resources on all technology builds to assist with ease in replicating future products.
  • Facilitates attendee experience through website & registration site design, event promotion and communication, and attendee management to support needs related to meeting attendance (e.g., accommodation requests, RSVPs for sessions, travel manifests).
  • Stay up to date on CVENT technology though online and in person training.
  • Assist with administration of Cvent account and libraries.
  • Assist with training Associate Program Managers on Cvent responsibilities.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as needed or assigned.

Event Administration (25%):

  • Act as subject matter expert on designated tools and processes that enhance overall Event Services productivity and customer experience (i.e. DocuSign).
  • Assist Director, Event Services Administration with technology and accounting tasks that enhance Event Services productivity and customer experience (i.e. Cvent fee/financial reporting and reconciliation assistance, Process Folders, Onboarding).
  • Support Event Services leadership with special projects as assigned and as workload allows.
  • Research tech options other than Cvent when required/requested.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as needed or assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Organized and some experience with event planning and/or project management.
  • Excellent computer skills. Cvent technology preferred, training will be provided to supplement current knowledge.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, work independently, and collaborate in a team environment.
  • Strong customer service, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
  • Embraces the spirit of hospitality and strives to create the best experience for clients, participants, and co-workers.
