Job summary

Speedway Motorsports is seeking a Guest Services Security Manager to lead venue and event security operations at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. You will manage LVMS Blue Shirt and Yellow Shirt Security, security vendors, access control, gate operations, and incident reporting across NASCAR, NHRA, and major events.

Reporting to the VP of Events and Operations, you will coordinate with law enforcement, emergency services, and event stakeholders to maintain a safe, professional environment and drive

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of management experience in venue security or related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience managing security personnel.
• Experience leading large security teams and developing security plans.
• Experience with Emergency Action Plans and command center procedures.
• Knowledge of coordinating with law enforcement and public safety agencies.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, decision-making skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead LVMS Blue Shirt and Yellow Shirt Security, staffing and supervision.
• Develop security staffing plans, post assignments, and deployment schedules.
• Oversee credentials, access control, gate operations, and inspections.
• Manage outside security vendors and post-event evaluations.
• Coordinate security with LVMS leadership, law enforcement and partners.
• Develop and implement Emergency Action Plans and training.
• Lead command center procedures and incident reporting during events.
