Job summary

San Diego Theatres is seeking a Part-Time Public Safety Lead Officer to oversee safety for staff and guests at events and non-performance days. You will supervise Public Safety staff, coordinate with Front of House managers, and provide incident reports to the Public Safety Manager.

The role requires de-escalation skills, strong communication, and the ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays. Equal emphasis on safety and service at SDT venues.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma.
• Three years related experience and/or training preferred.
• Ability to de-escalate incidents diplomatically and tactfully.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Public Safety staff during event and non-event shifts.
• Direct staff to ensure safety of guests, employees, property and facilities.
• Prepare written incident reports for Public Safety Manager.
• Maintain records of staff sign-in sheets, timesheets and log sheets.
