Job summary

Encore Global in New York is seeking a Project Manager to lead end-to-end event projects from design through closing, ensuring profitable execution and adherence to Technical and Production Standards. You will partner with Sales and Operations to plan resources, manage budgets, schedules, and on-site activities, and mentor Associate Project Managers while traveling up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience required.
• 4+ years of technical experience in Corporate Staging or Broadcast industry; PM experience preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills required.
• MS Office experience required; ability to create technical diagrams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and communicate schedules, resources, scope, execution plan to team, vendors and venues.
• Determine and secure resources required to complete each project.
• Maintain client focus via meetings, show docs, and addressing questions.
• Monitor scope and adjust activities to ensure successful project completion.
• Assist sales/ops to determine equipment needs and technical solutions.
• Lead on-site as project leader; manage load-in to run-of-show to load-out.
• Manage project budgets and costs; assist with post-event invoicing and vendor payments.
