Constellation in Miami, FL is seeking a Senior Event Producer to lead a team of Event Managers for larger off-premise catering events. You will own the event production lifecycle from planning through post-event analysis, coordinating with sales, culinary, and operations to deliver exceptional experiences.

The role requires 8+ years in event planning or management, strong client communication, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in event planning, sales, or event management.
• Ability to manage events from conception to execution and multitask.
• Professional and effective client communication with all levels.
• Excellent time management to meet deadlines.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Leadership experience supervising Event Managers or related roles.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees production for large off-premise catering events and coordinates team assignments.
• Develop supervisor packets and event paperwork; ensure execution against standards.
• Liaise with third-party vendors; negotiate costs and pricing for profitability.
• Owns BEO after close of sale and communicates production details to client and team.
• Serve as primary client, venue, and vendor contact during setup and breakdown.
• Identify risks and develop contingency plans for event success.
• Supervises Event Managers, hiring input, coaching, scheduling, performance management.
• Maintain excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure all equipment and inventory are ready.
• Post-event analysis and client communications after turnover.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
• Monitor guest issue resolution and escalate appropriately.
• Identify operational problems and work with DOS/other departments on solutions.
• Ensure budgeted goals are met; oversee budget across portfolio.
• Find ways to stay within budget while meeting needs.
• Submit invoices for timely payment
