The Senior Event Planning Manager is an experienced senior-level leader responsible for serving events and reports directly to the Director of Events.The Sr. Event Planning Manager should have planning experience that includes but is not limited to menu planning, agenda setting, event detailing, and communication between the planner and hotel associates.In addition, the Sr. Event Planning Manager would be responsible for on-site coordination and wrap-up of each event.This person should be forward-thinking and can anticipate opportunities as needed.In addition, they would also, maintain strong customer relationships and work closely with support staff.Hybrid opportunity is available and discussed during the recruitment phase.

SALARY

Salary range for this position is $76,000 - $95,200. Actual pay will be commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or CMP certification
• A minimum of 3-5 years of previous Hotel experience
• Ability to train and mentor both Event Planning Managers
• Excellent customer relations, communication, presentation, and organization skills
• A genuine desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Refined verbal and written communication skills
• Must be proficient in computer knowledge such as Microsoft Office and efficient typing
• Candidates should be detail-oriented and organized
• Flexible schedule; some nights, weekends, and Holidays are required
