Job summary

The City and County of Denver seeks a Senior Evaluator – Community Health within the Department of Public Health and Environment. You will lead evaluation for community health initiatives, collaborate with program teams, and develop plans to support learning and improvement throughout project lifecycles.

You will provide technical assistance, create detailed reports, and present findings to boards and partners, while contributing to emergency preparedness efforts and applying equity-centered

Qualifications

• Experience leading evaluation for public health prevention programs, including policy efforts.
• Ability to independently assess program learning and evaluation needs and to lead collaborative evaluation/applied research.
• Quantitative and qualitative research methods, plan and carry out mixed methods, analyze data from varied sources.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation for DDPHE community health initiatives and collaborate with program teams.
• Develop evaluation plans, assess evidence, and select methodologies.
• Create detailed reports and presentations for boards, partners, and grantors.
• Participate in emergency preparedness and response activities as needed.
• Provide technical assistance and training to partners on evaluation approaches.
