Job summary

Plug Technologies Inc is seeking a Sr. Reconditioning Technician to lead the development of a brand-new reconditioning function in Norwalk, CA. You will inspect, repair, and certify vehicles to the Retail Ready standard while managing vendor relationships and SOP creation.

You will report to the General Manager and help scale the operation nationwide, mentoring junior technicians and shaping on-site processes from the ground up.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of automotive technician experience and hands-on diagnostic work
• EV OEM experience strongly preferred, powertrain knowledge a plus
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, service manuals, and knowledge bases

Responsibilities

• Inspect and recondition vehicles from intake to repair, sign-off on repairs
• Build scalable SOPs and participate in vendor management
• Mentor junior technicians as the team expands
• Coordinate repairs with on-site and off-site service vendors
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized workspace
