Job summary

Plug is seeking a Sr. Reconditioning Technician to own the end-to-end reconditioning process for on-site Norwalk, CA location. You will inspect, repair, and ensure vehicles meet the Retail Ready standard while managing vendor relationships and SOPs.

Report to the General Manager and help scale the function across locations. Responsibilities include training junior technicians, overseeing parts sourcing, and coordinating repairs with on-site and off-site vendors as the team grows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of automotive technician experience with hands-on diagnostics.
• Experience with EV OEMs (Tesla, Rivian, Lucid) preferred; HV battery knowledge a plus.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and service manuals; ASE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and recondition vehicles to meet Retail Ready standards.
• Mentor junior technicians and help build the team.
• Coordinate with on-site and off-site service vendors.
• Develop and update SOPs for scalable reconditioning operations.
