Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a seasoned engineer to lead propulsion hardware architecture and semiconductor sourcing for centralized vehicle controllers. The role partners with vehicle architecture, safety engineers, and buyers to ensure performance, reliability, and cost targets are met.

The candidate will drive HW architecture decisions for propulsion controllers, support ECU development, and collaborate in a Scaled Agile environment to deliver reusable, scalable platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronics, Telecommunication, or equivalent Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of automotive embedded electronics or hardware/system architecture experience.
• Knowledge of propulsion and battery ECU design, development, and testing.
• Strong teamwork and communication in a global team.

Responsibilities

• Select and recommend next-generation semiconductor solutions for centralized vehicle controllers.
• Collaborate with vehicle architecture/design, safety engineers, and buyers to meet performance and cost targets.
• Lead semiconductor sourcing (RFI/RFC/RFQ) from requirements to supplier shortlisting.
• Drive HW architecture decisions for propulsion controller systems, ensuring scalability and cost optimization.
• Support HW engineering during design phases and ECU development/qualification.
• Work within a Scaled Agile product delivery team to prioritize and deploy components.
• Align with Propulsion domain team requirements and project milestones.
