Job summary

Stellantis NV seeks a System Design Lead to drive propulsion system development across HEV, PHEV, REPB, and ICE platforms. You will lead architecture decisions, coordinate SDL activities, and partner with chief engineers to balance FE, performance, and thermal requirements. You will deliver system health reports and lead requirements across milestones.

The role emphasizes leading technical solutions, governance, and cross-functional collaboration within a global engineering environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.
Minimum 7 years of product development experience simulating ICE, hybrid and/or electrified propulsion systems.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

Lead propulsion system development across HEV, PHEV, REPB, and ICE platforms.
Drive architecture decisions for global products with SDL accountability.
Improve SDL workflows and program governance to boost operational efficiency.
Partner with propulsion chief engineers and planning teams to balance FE, performance, drivability, and thermal requirements.
Provide propulsion system performance scorecards/health reports at key gates and reviews.
Lead requirements engineering across program milestones with focus on vehicle functions.
Drive implementation of technical solutions and roadmap inputs for propulsion programs.
Lead risk management and issue resolution with internal teams and suppliers.
Develop and ensure global technical and departmental processes to improve efficiency.
