Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, ECE, Control Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5+ years of professional EV motor-control experience.
• Hands-on experience developing motor-control algorithms for automotive/EV applications.
• Strong experience with C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink, MCU-based embedded systems, and debugging tools.
• Experience taking motor-control algorithms from concept and simulation through embedded implementation and validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate motor-control algorithms for EV traction motors and electrified powertrains.
• Design, implement, and optimize control strategies including FOC, sensorless control, MTPA, field weakening, and regenerative braking.
• Develop and validate models using MATLAB/Simulink, SIL, PIL, and HIL environments.
• Implement motor-control software in embedded C/C++ for automotive microcontrollers.
• Collaborate with power electronics engineers to optimize motor-inverter interaction and performance.
• Analyze motor and inverter performance to improve efficiency, torque response, and reliability.
• Support product lifecycle from requirements through production release and validation.
• Troubleshoot complex motor-control and embedded software issues with test equipment and calibration tools.
