Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA in Long Beach, CA, seeks a Senior Electrical Integration Engineer to drive the industrialization of low-voltage battery and wireless keyfob for vehicle access. You will coordinate with Product Development, Software, Quality, and Manufacturing to ensure scalable, high-quality production and timely launches.

You will lead design, validation, and testing across bench, labcar, and vehicle environments, partnering with suppliers to meet program milestones and implement OTA-ready

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 4 years in complex low-voltage electrical systems or electronics design.
• 3 years in mass-production setting launching new products.
• Strong fundamentals in low-voltage systems and CAN/LIN/Automotive Ethernet.
• Proven debugging across electrical, software, and network domains.
• Experience with requirements management software.
• Excellent teamwork, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Industrialization: Lead the transition of components from design through high-volume manufacturing.
• Lead Integration: Own design and validation of low-voltage battery and keyfob.
• Cross-Functional Development: Collaborate with Controls, Security, Software, Purchasing and Manufacturing.
• Subject Matter Expert: Serve as the single point of contact for electrical integration issues.
• Software Collaboration: Partner with software and suppliers on application software and OTA workflows.
• Launch Support: Support vehicle assembly lines during development and ramp-up.
• Quality Control: Develop and implement quality control measures and DVPR strategies.
• Testing & Debugging: Perform vehicle-level testing and data analysis with cross-functional reviews.
• Requirements Allocation: Do trade studies and translate requirements into hardware/software specs.
• Reporting: Report feature progress at program milestones.
