Job summary

EUROPEAN DYNAMICS is seeking a Performance/Resilience Test Engineer fluent in English to join remotely within the EU. The candidate will integrate with the development team and closely cooperate with a major client IT team.

Qualifications

• University degree in IT combined with relevant professional experience of at least 6 years in non-functional testing and associated tooling.
• Expertise in Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Workload Design, Test Cases Design, Test Platform Setup, Test Data Setup and Defect Management.
• Hands-on knowledge of performance test tools JMeter or Gatling.
• Capacity to write documents and present findings to team and customers.
• Experience in agile software development and testing methodologies; Chaos/Kraken experience plus.
• Excellent command of the English language.

Responsibilities

• Create non-functional test plans and update them for management review.
• Plan, prepare, execute and analyse non-functional testing activities.
• Develop an end-to-end non-functional testing strategy for the solution.
• Develop and script performance tests using JMeter or Gatling; prepare test data.
• Execute resilience, recovery, load, stress, endurance and capacity tests.
• Analyse resource usage to identify bottlenecks and verify performance.
• Review test results and recommend fixes; enable other QA engineers and developers.
• Provide technical assistance to improve system performance, capacity, reliability and scalability.
• Develop standards and best practices for robust, maintainable load testing scripts.
• Evaluate system performance and stability and recommend improvements.
