Pinterest is seeking a Senior Privacy Counsel (EU) to provide strategic privacy counseling across product teams and engineering, ensuring GDPR and other global privacy compliance. You will lead DPIAs, help design privacy-by-design processes, and partner with cross-functional teams to balance business goals with privacy obligations.

Qualificações

• Minimum 10 years of legal experience.
• Experience providing privacy counseling to Product and Trust & Safety teams.
• Experience leading DPIAs and cross-functional mitigations.
• Experience with DPAs and data protection terms.
• Excellent judgment and ability to work independently on high-stakes matters.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with AI tools responsibly.
• Familiarity with multi‑jurisdictional privacy issues in tech.

Responsabilidades

• Provide end-to-end privacy counseling to Trust & Safety and Product teams through design, launch and iteration.
• Advise on global privacy issues in Trust & Safety including platform abuse, content moderation, and data handling.
• Counsel on GDPR, ePrivacy, UK GDPR, CCPA, UK Children’s Code and other privacy laws.
• Lead privacy risk assessments including DPIAs and drive practical mitigations.
• Partner with Legal, Product, Engineering, Security, Regulatory to operationalize privacy-by-design.
• Develop scalable governance frameworks, templates and playbooks for privacy review.
• Provide guidance on third-party arrangements and DPAs.
• Advise on international data transfers and risk mitigations.
• Collaborate to address incidents, complaints, or investigations and drive improvements.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve privacy workflows with proper oversight.
