You'll own risk and PnL delivery for commodity trading desks in a genuinely techno-functional role. You'll configure and extend Openlink Endur across front, mid, and back office, write JVS/OC where the platform falls short, and work close enough to the desk that traders and risk managers know you by name.
The day to day spans curve architecture, deal modeling, and diagnosing why overnight VaR didn't tie out before signoff. You'll have real autonomy over system design and be the person the desk trusts when risk or PnL numbers look wrong in a volatile market.
