Job summary
RBC Capital Markets in Jersey City seeks an experienced Java Developer to join the Credit eTrading technology team. You will build enterprise-grade backend systems and data pipelines powering analytics and AI tools, with a focus on low-latency server-side performance.
You will partner with business teams to translate requirements into robust data products and scalable platforms, shaping deployment standards and throughput while advancing trading system performance and reliability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 10+ years of Java/J2EE server-side development.
- Strong multithreading experience.
- Experience with low latency optimization in high-frequency trading.
- Ability to work with business teams and technical partners.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain enterprise-grade backend systems for Global Spread Products.
- Develop scalable data platforms powering analytics and AI tools.
- Define standardized eTrading workflows and deployment standards.
- Develop low-latency trading systems for competitive advantage.
- Collaborate with business teams to ensure adoption and scaling.
- Identify bottlenecks and drive platform improvements.
