Innova Solutions is hiring a Software Engineer for a 12-month contract (W-2) in Charlotte, NC,hybrid (3 days onsite). The role focuses on designing and maintaining ETL pipelines, data integration, and backend services using .NET/C#.

You will work with SQL, SSIS, and Jira in an Agile team, delivering scalable data solutions and ensuring data quality across systems. The position is a full-time contract with possible extension.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining ETL pipelines and data integration solutions.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, validation, and storage (SOR creation).
• Experience building backend applications using .NET and C#.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines and data integration solutions.
• Work extensively with SQL to perform data extraction, transformation, validation, and storage (SOR creation).
• Build and enhance backend applications using .NET and C#.
• Develop and execute data workflows using SSIS (initially, with potential transition to other tools).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable data solutions.
• Work on Jira stories in an Agile environment, ensuring timely delivery.
• Perform data quality checks, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Contribute as a hands-on engineer, focusing on execution rather than architecture/design.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL jobs and data pipelines.
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning scripts.
• Build and support .NET applications and APIs.
• Use SSIS packages for data movement and transformation.
• Validate and reconcile data across systems to ensure accuracy.
• Debug and resolve issues related to data integration and application performance.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and backlog grooming.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders for requirement clarification
