Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a senior ETL/Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain enterprise data pipelines for batch and near real-time processing. You will optimize ETL performance, implement data quality checks, and collaborate with architects, DBAs, and analysts to deliver robust data solutions.

The role requires 6+ years in ETL, data warehousing, and strong SQL skills across relational databases. Familiarity with cloud data services and various ETL tools is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or four years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 6 years hands-on ETL, data integration, and warehousing experience.
• Proficient with ETL toolsets including Informatica, SSIS, Talend, DataStage or AWS Glue.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise ETL/ELT solutions.
• Develop scalable data pipelines for batch and near real-time processing.
• Build data integration workflows on cloud-based platforms.
• Analyze requirements to create data mappings and validation rules.
• Optimize performance and troubleshoot large-scale ETL processes.
• Collaborate with data architects, DBAs, and analysts to deliver data solutions.
• Develop and maintain data warehouses, data stores, and data marts.
• Implement data quality checks and governance practices.
