Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking an ETL Developer III to design, develop, test, and optimize complex data pipelines supporting shelf-edge technology. You will lead data integration efforts, ensure data integrity, and collaborate with Platform, Cloud, Data Engineering, and QA teams in a hybrid remote environment.

The role requires 6+ years in ETL, strong SQL, Python, and Databricks, and a Bachelor's in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, IT or related field.
• 6+ years in ETL development, data integration, and DB administration.
• Expertise in database architectures, SQL development, performance tuning, and schema design.
• Hands-on with enterprise ETL tools, workflow orchestrators, batch/streaming data processing, and Python, SQL Notebooks, Databricks pipelines.
• Proven ability to solve complex problems and deliver projects on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, specification, development, and maintenance of ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, optimize queries and data flows.
• Collaborate with Platform, Cloud, Data Engineering, and QA teams on requirements and delivery.
• Maintain data dictionaries and ensure data integrity and security.
• Support CI/CD, automated data quality controls, and SOX 404 compliance.
