Position Overview

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior ETL Developer for a 6+ month contract in the financial industry, located in San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities

• Lead development efforts within the data integration environment.
• Design, build, test, and deploy ETL applications using Informatica PowerCenter and IDMC.
• Evaluate technical challenges involving data workflows, system architecture, and performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and review business requirements.
• Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and perform database tuning.
• Support and enhance existing Informatica environment and develop scalable ETL pipelines.
• Manage data processes using shell scripting and UNIX.
• Use Autosys or similar tools for batch scheduling and workflow automation.
• Integrate CI / CD tools like GIT, Jenkins, and UCD for deployment management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.
• Collaborate with team members to meet business and compliance needs.
• Mentor junior developers and act as an escalation point.

Minimum Qualifications

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent.
• 5+ years in Informatica PowerCenter and IDMC / IICS for data integration.
• 3+ years writing optimized SQL queries and performance tuning.
• 2+ years working with UNIX and shell scripting.
• 2+ years using Autosys or similar scheduling tools.
• Experience with GIT, Jenkins, UCD, or similar CI / CD tools.
• Ability to manage tasks independently.
• 52 - $62 per hour.
