• Advise AMA's position on ethics matters with external entities like DHHS and World Medical Association.
• Prepare well-researched reports for the Council on Ethical and Judicial Affairs.
• Serve as Secretary of the Reference Committee on Ethics and Bylaws for House of Delegates meetings.
• Synthesize and present findings in reports, oral, and digital formats to leadership and audiences.
• Monitor trends in ethics and health policy and interpret implications for physicians and patients.
