Job summary

The American Medical Association is seeking a Lead Data Analyst for a hybrid Chicago-based role. You will perform complex analyses of Medicare, Medicare Advantage and Medicaid data to inform the CPT Editorial Panel and RUC processes.

You will also support AMA Advocacy with data, contribute to RUC reporting, and help develop data-driven policy materials, while maintaining data integrity in RUC/CMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex analyses of Medicare, Medicare Advantage and Medicaid data for CPT Editorial Panel and RUC processes.
• Support AMA Advocacy staff with claims data for proposed regulations and legislation.
• Provide data analysis to inform RUC methodologies and submissions to CMS.
• Prepare data files for AMA products and participate in annual RUC meetings.
• Develop reports and educational materials related to claims analysis.
